Behind The Smile

Article @ queensniche

She woke up that morning, and all she could say and feel was "Crap, am up again!!" She thought; " Up to the same shitty boring routine with a zero income margin. Life's been one hell of a bumpy ride, relationships? No luck!...Friends? Hell no! (unless you consider being used an appeal). Well at least am a graduate, waiting to serve like forever?.....urrrrgh!, got this job that pays little or nothing, oh hell! that's it, am not going to work today (tear drops)".

She had this thoughts running through her head that morning and by the time daylight slipped in fully, she already had a migraine coming.

She's brilliant and knows she deserves better but nothing good is coming forth yet. It has been from one financial disappointment to another, sometimes she just wants me to disappear.

But everyday she goes out, she does something absolutely amazing;

          "SHE SMILES"

Not the "tooth smile" or " strained smile", but a smile that comes from inward and radiates out, endearing people to her.....yet no one knows what she's passing through.  She likes the fact that no knows, it gives jher the only edge she needs.

Some people wake up everyday having th same crappy feeling and most times take the depression and frustration out of bed with them. Everything and every one becomes annoying (bad belle), people are on edge around them, infact people want to avoid them. They want to know what the person's problem is and when they find out, they have the edge they need over the troubled person.

    A smile is the best! because it says;
1. Am going to be okay
2. Its bad enough am going through this but i don't have to feel it

A smile keeps you afloat, not drown in your distress and most times it gets you the help you need without you struggling for it!

This is for "you", if u feel like the world's crashing in on you, everything's stagnant and not just working.
Smile and say "am above this, i can carry it!"....We all have our share of troubles, the next person might be going through worse. When we smile we ease ourselves and at the same time make the weight lighter for others.

Always remember;   " BEHIND A SMILE LIES THE POWER TO AN UNBREAKABLE SPIRIT!".

Kaka: Madrid first-team football will win me World Cup spot

Kaka: Madrid first-team football will win me World Cup spot

Real Madrid midfielder Kaka hopes that featuring in more first-team games this season will see him win a spot in Brazil's World Cup 2014 squad.

The 31-year-old was used predominantly as a substitute or in less important games under Jose Mourinho in 2012-2013 and was left out of Luiz Felipe Scolari's victorious Confederations Cup side as a result.

However, under former AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti he hopes to get more game-time in order to impress at the Santiago Bernabeu and make the Selecao squad next summer.
"My challenge for this season is to play more regularly," Kaka told Adidas. "I want to be physically fit and then if I do well for my club I can get back in the national team.
"I want to play in the World Cup next summer. Carlo is an open coach who is helping me a lot. Personally, it’s great to train with him."
Kaka has made 87 appearances for Brazil since his debut in 2002 though, since joining the Blancos in 2009, he has struggled to find the form which saw him win the Ballon d'Or while at San Siro.

Diddy Mocks Kendrick Lamar

... You're a JOKE!!!!

0814-diddy-jayz-instagram-4
Got this off TMZ;

The backlash against Kendrick Lamar is in FULL SWING ... with Diddy putting the rapper on blast on Instagram ... and he's even dragging Jay-Z into the attack.

Lamar has been under fire for the past 24 hours for the lyrics he spits out against other rappers on Big Sean's new track, "Control" ... in which KL refers to himself as the "King of New York."

Naturally, Diddy took issue with the lyric ... considering, well, you know ... he thinks he's the king of New York.

So Diddy fired back with an image on Instagram, showing himself and Jay-Z, another New York boss, laughing ... along with a caption that mocks Kendrick's lyrics.

Diddy ain't the first to fire back at Kendrick -- 67-year-old NBA legend Phil Jackson dropped some knowledge Kendrick's way yesterday ... after KL shouted his name in the same song.

Seriously guys.....its just a song.

Government Cannot Meet ASUU's N92bn Demand!

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala said:
“At present, ASUU wants the Federal Government to pay N92 billion in extra allowances, when the resources are not there, and when we are working to integrate past increases in pensions. We need to make choices in this country as we are getting to the stage where recurrent expenditures take the bulk of our resources and people get paid but can do no work. Since I assumed office, the share of recurrent expenditure in our total budgets had increased astronomically. In fact, recurrent expenditure accounted for about 77.2 per cent of the federal budget and we are now working to re-balance this ratio.
The country is still suffering from the effect of the 2010 increase in salary. Do we want to get to a stage in this country that all the money we earn is used to pay salaries and allowances? If the demands of the university lecturers are met and we continue to pay them salaries and allowances, we will not be able to provide infrastructure in the universities.”

Haba na! this isn't fair o! students are moving about aimlessly! FG abeg na! Your kids ain't suffering this too!

CBN To Take Delivery Of New Naira Notes By The End Of September.

CBN-Building3

The Central Bank of Nigeria would take delivery of new naira notes before the end of September for circulation, the Deputy Director, Operations, Dr. Tunde Lemo, has said.
Dr Lemo stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Abuja.
The apex bank had earlier said that new naira notes would be in circulation by June, and that the smaller denomination notes (N5, N10, N20, and N50) would be reprinted on paper.
“We are going to take delivery of the new notes from this month of August. We are taking delivery of the new notes before the end of September.
“The public would get a large quantity of the new notes to replace the old and mutilated notes, particularly the higher denomination notes in the first instance, then later the lower denominations,’’ he said.
On the scarcity of the lower denomination notes, Lemo blamed commercial banks for what he called ‘poor circulation.’
“For the lower denomination; well, I think the banks are really the ones that are really not allowing the lower denomination in circulation, largely, because of the carrying value.
“Most people don’t require small denomination. But for buying things in the market, if you look at the veracity, you find out that the N50 circulate more than the smaller ones,’’ he said.

We pray this is for the best.

Samsung WOWS Again!!!

 welcome to Queen's Niche

Samsung Introduces Bottom-Mounted Freezer Refrigerator

Samsung Electronics West Africa, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Company Limited, a global leader in digital home appliances, today announced the introduction of its new Bottom Mounted Freezer refrigerator featuring several category firsts.

The new refrigerator, which automatically adjusts cooling speed in response to temperature fluctuations for more energy efficiency and to strengthen durability, affirms Samsung’s dedication to providing appliance innovations that deliver unparalleled performance, greater flexibility, superior organization and more convenience for today’s busy families.

With the new Bottom Mounted Freezer, Samsung brings powerful technology innovations into the home, empowering families to get more out of their appliances and enabling households to run more efficiently and harmoniously.

Most notably, the new refrigerator features Samsung’s superior Digital Inverter Compressor that strengthens durability and improves energy efficiency and cooling performance by automatically adjusting across five speeds of RPM in response to cooling demands. Whether due to frequent door openings, a hot plate of food or outside temperature changes, the compressor reacts to either rapidly provide cold air or slow down to reduce unnecessary energy consumption. And, unlike other models, Samsung’s compressor operates only in case of need, producing less noise. While this innovative technology works to strengthen the durability and extend the life of the refrigerator, Samsung backs it up with a 10-year warranty – a first in this segment.

“In many ways, the refrigerator is at the heart of the kitchen, experiencing a lot of physical demands and activity throughout the day,” said Product Manager, Refrigerators, Samsung Electronics West Africa, Manmohan Chandroth. “In addition to small temperature changes that come from frequent door openings, we also thought about situations in which a home’s electricity supply may be unstable with spikes and power cuts. This will damage a refrigerator over time. And if it breaks, it causes a huge amount of stress and takes significant time, money and effort to fix or replace. At Samsung, we pride ourselves on always thinking ahead to what our consumers will need, and our new Bottom Mounted Freezer Refrigerator thoughtfully delivers on providing real solutions with unprecedented technology, durability and design,” he adds.

An Easy Slide shelf effortlessly slides out to enable more efficient organization and easy storing and removal of groceries, while reducing dead space deep inside. In a conventional refrigerator, it is inconvenient to put large items in the drawer due to its small entrance. But a Full Open Box in the new Bottom Mounted Freezer Refrigerator can be pulled out fully so you can store items from corner to corner and to easily remove large and bulky food items. A wider and deeper Big Guard door shelf accommodates big and tall bottles – perfect for larger entertaining occasions that require many and varied size beverages.

Samsung’s new Bottom Mounted Freezer Refrigerator offers several other category-first features that highlight convenience, including an entire Grab’n Go sauce basket that can be detached and moved for cooking or enjoying a meal, a top LED that illuminates the refrigerator’s interior more brightly than conventional models.

No other refrigerator ensures optimal freshness like the new Bottom Mounted Freezer Refrigerator. A Cool Select zone allows consumers to control the temperature of that compartment with a simple-touch button display, maximizing freshness and allowing the space for multi-purpose use, keeping vegetables and meat fresher far longer. And No Frost Technology prevents ice buildup on the inside of the freezer wall and prevents water drop formation in the refrigerator that can leave stains.
Wow, for all the Moms out there!!!!
